8 Tips Mengajak Anak Nonton Bioskop, Pilih Film Sesuai Usia

KOMPAS.com - Ada sejumlah persiapan yang dibutuhkan oleh orangtua saat mengajak anak menonton bioskop. Berbeda dengan kondisi sebelum kehadiran si kecil, orangtua perlu memperhatikan sejumlah hal demi kenyamanan anak.
Menonton film bersama anak, bisa menjadi momen family time yang menyenangkan. Berikut sejumlah tips mengajak anak nonton bioskop menurut psikolog agar family time menjadi menyenangkan.

1. Pilih film sesuai rating usia
Hal utama yang perlu diperhatikan saat mengajak anak menonton di bioskop adalah pastikan memilih film sesuai dengan usia.
Psikolog Ratih Ibrahim menegaskan, orangtua wajib mengecek lebih dulu rating usia film dan genrenya. Pastikan, anak hanya menonton film dengan rating usia SU atau Semua Umur.
“Nonton film bersama anak, wajib disesuaikan dengan umur si anak. Ada yang untuk semua umur, itu yang paling aman,” ujarnya saat dikonfirmasi Kompas.com, dikutip Minggu (21/4/2024).
Dihubungi terpisah, Praktisi Psikologi Anak, Aninda, S.Psi, M.Psi.T. juga menuturkan hal senada. Ia menambahkan, meskipun rating usia film adalah SU dan genrenya memang untuk anak-anak, namun orangtua perlu mengecek kembali apakah si kecil menikmati film tersebut.
Orangtua juga perlu memastikan bahwa anaknya memang ingin menonton film tersebut lantaran suka, bukan hanya mengikuti temannya.
“Karena seperti yang kita ketahui di era maju seperti sekarang ini, bisa saja bukan keinginan anak untuk menonton, melainkan hanya faktor FOMO (fear of missing out) orangtua semata. Jadi, dikembalikan lagi ke diri anaknya ya,” terangnya.
2. Perhatikan usia anak
Sebetulnya, tidak ada ketentuan baku mengenai batasan usia anak saat menonton film di bioskop. Namun, baik Ratih maupun Aninda menganjurkan usia anak boleh diajak ke bioskop yakni 3-5 tahun dengan memperhatikan kondisi masing-masing anak.
“Di umur yang lebih kecil, saya tidak menyarankan nonton di bioskop, karena belum mengerti, bisa takut, dan paparan kuman, karena bercampur macam-macam orang, potensi anak malah jadi rewel sehingga menganggu penonton lain,” jelas Ratih.
Senada, Aninda menganjurkan tidak mengajak anak menonton bioskop di usia yang terlalu dini. Ada beragam faktor pertimbangan, salah satunya suara di bioskop yang menggelegar sehingga dapat membuat bayi merasa tidak nyaman.
“Usia 4-5 tahun bisa dibilang sebagai usia yang umumnya sering diajak orangtua pertama kali ke bioskop, karena dianggap anak sudah cukup bisa kooperatif,” tuturnya.
3. Sounding tentang suasana bioskop
Bagi anak yang pertama kali diajak ke bioskop, Aninda menganjurkan orangtua untuk sounding, atau memberikan pemahaman secara positif kepada kepada anak mengenai suasana bioskop.
“Sounding anak dari hari sebelumnya tentang keadaan di dalam bioskop, seperti suara bising, gelap, banyak orang sehingga anak tidak merasa kaget saat masuk ke dalamnya,” jelas Aninda.
4. Sounding tentang film yang akan ditonton
Selain sounding mengenai suasana bioskop, orangtua juga bisa memberikan gambaran tentang film yang akan ditonton kepada anak.
Aninda menuturkan, orangtua bisa memperlihatkan trailer dari film tersebut kepada anak guna memastikan bahwa anak menyukai film tersebut.
“Pastikan anak memang suka dengan film tersebut,” kata Aninda.
5. Kenalkan etika menonton di bioskop
Sejalan dengan itu, orangtua bisa mengenalkan anak mengenai etika menonton film di bioskop, khususnya bagi yang pertama kali menonton di bioskop.
Jadi, anak sudah mulai mengenal cara bersikap yang baik saat berada di ruang publik.
“Pastikan anak tidak mengganggu penonton lainnya, seperti tidak mengobrol, tidak main handphone, tidak jalan-jalan, dan sebagainya,” terang Aninda.
6. Bawa earmuff
Tips mengajak anak menonton bioskop selanjutnya adalah membawa earmuff atau pelindung telinga. Hal ini untuk berjaga-jaga jika anak kurang nyaman dengan suara audio di bioskop yang cenderung menggelegar.
7. Kondisi anak fit
Sebelum mengajak anak menonton di bioskop, Ratih menganjurkan orangtua untuk memastikan anak dalam kondisi fit. Selain itu, pastikan mereka dalam kondisi nyaman, seperti sudah kenyang dan pakai baju nyaman.
“Pastikan anak dalam kondisi fit, pakai baju yang nyaman dan cukup hangat, serta sudah makan jadi tidak masuk angin di dalam bioskop,” jelas Ratih.
8. Datang tepat waktu
Terakhir, upayakan untuk datang tepat waktu sebelum film mulai. Selain mengajarkan anak disiplin waktu, dengan datang tepat waktu maka anak bisa membiasakan diri dengan kondisi bioskop mulai dari suasana terang hingga gelap.
“Kalau datang jangan telat, agar anak bisa membiasakan diri dulu dengan tempat, suasana, kondisi terang sampai ruangan gelap. Mungkin bisa latihan dulu di rumah,” kata Ratih.
