Liputan6.com, Jakarta - Presiden Joko Widodo atau Jokowi menilai tutupnya pabrik sepatu Bata di Kabupaten Purwakarta, Jawa Barat, karena pertimbangan perusahaan yang harus melakukan efisiensi atau kalah bersaing dengan produk baru.

'Kalau masalah ada pabrik yang tutup, sebuah usaha itu naik turun karena kondisi, karena mungkin efisiensi, karena kalah bersaing dengan barang-barang baru. Banyak hal,' kata Jokowi saat ditemui usai meresmikan IDTH di Balai Besar Pengujian Perangkat Telekomunikasi (BBPPT) Tapos, Depok, Jawa Barat, dikutip[ dari Antara, Selasa (7/5/2024).

Di sisi lain, Presiden menekankan bahwa tutupnya pabrik perusahaan dalam negeri bernama PT Sepatu Bata Tbk itu tidak menggambarkan kondisi perekonomian Indonesia secara keseluruhan.
