PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) bekerja sama dengan Self Regulatory Organization (SRO) serta mendapatkan dukungan dari Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) menyelenggarakan acara Capital Market Summit and Expo (CMSE) 2024, sebagai upaya untuk memperluas jangkauan edukasi meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat di pasar modal.

Direktur Utama BEI, Iman Rachman dalam keterangan realease yang di kirim ke redaksi Radio Kota Batik, mengatakan sesuai tema 'Aku Investor Saham' mencerminkan rasa kebanggaan, keterbukaan, dan kemajuan bagi semua kalangan, maka acara CMSE 2024 menekankan setiap individu memiliki kesempatan untuk mencapai kemandirian financial masa depan dan sebagai upaya memperkuat ekonomi bangsa.

Menurut Iman, terdapat tiga hal baru pada CMSE 2024 di tema #AkuInvestorSaham, yaitu pelaksanaan rangkaian kegiatan pre-event CMSE 2024 yang dinamakan road to CMSE, sesi seminar atau talk show, serta ekspo yang menghadirkan berbagai booth Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM).

Kegiatan Road to CMSE 2024 ini telah dilaksanakan sejak Agustus 2024 yang terdiri atas 119 rangkaian literasi yang diikuti ratusan ribu peserta dari berbagai latar belakang profesi di sejumlah daerah di Indonesia.

Iman Rachman mengungkapkap, rangkaian kegiatan literasi di berbagai daerah Indonesia diikuti ratusan ribu peserta, dengan kegiatan literasi ini mencakup sekolah pasar modal untuk negeri, Fun Competition seperti kompetisi investasi saham, hingga e-sport, serta seminar yang diselenggarakan di berbagai instansi, pemerintah kota/kabupaten, dan perguruan tinggi yang ada di Indonesia.

Berbagai seminar dan talk show pada CMSE 2024 ini mengangkat topic atau tema terkini dan relevan, seperti membahas arah peluang investasi pada era Kabinet Baru, dan 'Gamers Talk' untuk generasi muda yang akrab dengan e-sport, agar bisa lebih mengenali dunia investasi pasar modal.

Sementara itu, Direktur Pengembangan BEI, Jeffrey Hendrik menjelaskan pada kegiatan CMSE 2024 diselenggarakan pula CEO talk, Go Public Talk Show, Podcast Pasar Modal Syariah, Produk Baru Pasar Modal, dan Inspiration Talk.

Jeffrey berharap, seminar-seminar tersebut dapat menjadi bekal pengetahuan yang berguna bagi investor maupun calon investor ketika berinvestasi di pasar modal Indonesia. (Dirhamsyah)
